MONEY & TOURISM is organizing another significant Forum (Conference) on Smart Hotel on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, starting at 11:00 AM. This event follows a series of successful live broadcasts, destination presentations, and seminars launched in the past year.
As part of its commitment to providing comprehensive information to its readers, MONEY & TOURISM is now incorporating specialized conferences, where experts will analyze key topics concerning the tourism industry.
With the recent announcement of a new hotel upgrade program set to run until June (see details here), which includes a range of initiatives, this Forum was planned to explore the holistic and comprehensive transformation of a hotel into a Smart Hotel.
Forum Topic
The leading trend in Tourism is the increasing demand for personalized services. However, a hotel can only meet this demand and enhance the guest experience if it operates as a Smart Hotel.
Moreover, only through integration and centralized control of all hotel operations can costs be reduced—an essential factor, considering that hotels are highly energy-consuming buildings.
This is what defines a Smart Hotel—the hotel of the future.
In future hotels, all systems must interconnect and collaborate, enabling centralized control and management of all hotel functions. This approach helps save energy, reduce staff workload (lowering costs), and enhance personalized customer service, leading to higher guest satisfaction (and potentially increased sales, as cost savings allow for more competitive pricing strategies).
At the Smart Hotel Forum, experts will guide us through the infrastructure, technologies, and systems that enable this integrated management approach, which is the ultimate goal.
Speakers
The Forum will begin with a discussion where hotel executives will briefly analyze what a Smart Hotel truly means.
Participants:
- Eugenios Vasilikos / Airotel Group of Hotels
- Sotiris Kopatsaris / Carpe Diem Hotel
- Antonis Vasilakis / Pela Mare Hotel
- Nikos Glavas / Kymothoe Hotel
Following this, industry experts will explore the following interconnected topics:
- PMS – The Hotel’s Control Center – Stathis Paschalidis / Epsilon Net Hospitality
- IT Systems – Networks – IT – Communication Solutions – Alexis Christodoulakis / IT Concept
- Automation & Energy Saving Systems – Nikos Spanidis / ABB
- TV & Entertainment – Georgios Georgoulas / LG Electronics
This Forum will offer valuable insights into the future of the hotel industry and the smart technologies shaping it.
